On Dated 06th Aug 2019, Department of Mechanical Engineering, School of Diploma studies had organized a one-day workshop on Industry 4.0. The main objective of the workshop was to give them hands on experience on the PLC system with the stepper motor arrangements for the automation & control of the pumps. They were able to understand the relevance of various control systems, the connection with the HMI (Human Machine Interface) system which was connected to motor signals and could be controlled by the user at any specific time.
